Sloaney Ponies, Supermodels, Spaniels, and Ham

Here is the latest from The London Review of Breakfasts: The Wheatsheaf Inn by Peter Pain Perdu.  Should you ever find yourself in The Cotswolds, specifically Northleach, I recommend staying or at least eating here.  You won’t regret it.

    • I’ve been to Broadway! It was disappointing. If you ever go back to the Cotswolds, The Wheatsheaf is really good. The food is fantastic. The cheese souffle is my favorite dish on the menu. Also, the rooms are beautiful and so cozy. Like warm little jewel boxes.

    • I can see that. Much of the Cotswolds is cloying, but I love The Wheatsheaf. Mostly because the food and drink is excellent and the massage therapist they call in does wonders for my aches and pains. Then again, I have a small child. Sometimes 2 days of country decadence without her is just what I need to get back on track.
